Week 6 Madden Simulation: Browns at Steelers

According to Madden 21, the Steelers are going to have a tough time getting to 5-0 on the season. The Cleveland Browns were a tough out for Pittsburgh during these Madden simulations. Seven of the ten simulations were decided by one score or less. Video for two of the simulations can be found below.

Simulation Numbers and Notes

The following numbers come from 10 simulations of the Browns at Steelers using Madden 21.

The average score of the game:

Steelers 27.1

Browns 24.5

Outliers:

There were two outlier matches during the simulations. The first was a 34 to 7 win for the Browns. Pittsburgh also had a win of 41-14. These were the only two games decided by more than 10 points. All other games were one-possession games except for one.

Keys to the Games:

Sacks: The Browns and Steelers were both getting to the quarterback consistently during these simulations. TJ Watt and Myles Garrett both had multiple sacks in almost every sim game.

Big Ben: Ben Roethlisberger threw for over 500 yards in more than one of the simulations and had big games in most of the ten sims. Juju Smith-Schuster was his favorite target in each match-up.

Kareem Hunt: Pittsburgh’s defense had trouble containing Hunt during the simulations. His speed was a problem and helped the Browns establish a quality run game.
