TJ Watt Named Defensive Player of the Month
Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker was named AFC defensive player of the month. TJ Watt has turned himself into one of the most feared defensive players in the league.
During the Steelers’ 3-0 start Watt has 3.5 sacks, 10 quarterback hits, nine tackles, three tackles for loss, two pass defenses and an interception.
Watt also puts constant pressure on opposing quarterbacks, which doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet. It does, however, make life easier on the Steelers secondary.
